hi--am new to this scale first time trhying for small garden setup. i know transformer with starter set is not good enough for the job. there are so many out there one has caught my eye on ebay made by usatrains model 40m
for the pictures it looks like it would do the job but??? am just trying this out to keep me busy i don't have a lot of money to put into it. i already know the tracks are going to be the most cost in this.
    thanks for you help

    Welcome to TrainBoard!

I cannot speak for that power supply meeting your needs. It could depend upon how large your layout will be and having enough feeders spaced out. Also, please keep in kind that clean track and engine wheels will be important factors, as well as maintaining the best connections between track sections.

thanks for the info. next problem i see i am faceing is the track i see stainless steel which is less than the brass.
is there that much of a difference? are they equal or is it better just to spend the xtra fro brass?
    thanks
