VARR Finally Gets a Digital Camera!!!!

Well, a second hand one, but the price was right!



I got a Nikon Coolpix 950 (2.11 MP) Digital Camera, 10 Rechargeable Batteries and a Charger, and Data Cards of 8, 16, 32, 64 & 128 woo woo woo. I got the Original Box, Software and Manual too.

The only thing I didn't get was a Data Card Reader (Retails for ~$10-$20).

The price? $10.00

So, those in the Digital Camera "know", is this a great deal or what???

wow, you got a digital camera for the price of a movie ticket , so yes, I would say it's a great deal. Maybe later you will find out that you want more, but at least it's a great cheap start.

Thats the exact same camera I have. Although I thought it was 3.1 mp, but I could be wrong. I have an AC adapter on mine and so far just use it to take pics of my trains.

You can get just about everything for it on E-bay.

$10!!!!! I paid $70 (e-bay) oh well, still worth it.

I read that the batteries don't last long. I know if you put regular batteries in it you'll only get about 10 pics out of it. So if you can use rechargeables.

I think it takes some nice close ups. Soon as I figure out how to get it out of auto mode it should be good for long shots too. (more depth)

I can't get over the $10, Wanna sell?

Great deal! Have fun! That one has a very nice lens, but is a bit of a power hog, as Chris333 pointed out.

Oh VARR, personally I think you were robbed. You really should have low balled it for $6, then paid $7. $10 is an awful lot of money. I hope you don't have anxiety attacks when you drop that kind of dough.

 

VARR, you made an excellent choice at a very good price...the Nikon coolpix line is recognized as the best among professional reviews for its sharp macro capability for close-up photography, great lens and good depth of field. Now you gotta burn some shots and share them! Have fun...
