    All the complete issues of these old journals can be found on archive.org. Just enter "railway and locomotive engineering". Then you will need to find the correct monthly issue. Unfortunately finding the article of interest can be time consuming. The issues usually contain a years journals.

    I like that B&O 0-6-0. She looks a bit heftier than many such switchers seen.

    I am recalling the air powered hammers at PC&F. Not as large as that one pictured. But the noise and how the ground would shake at each impact.... :eek:
