hi, i have realtrax track from mth and one train set requires min curve to be 042.im running o scale trains and hoping to get two tracks on a 12 inch wide board around a small room.is this possible on the straights and corners?i have already started on benchwork two four foot sections by 12 inches wide.need input please.
We might have more activity here, if folks weren't redirected elsewhere. :frustrated: Yes, it is possible to do it on straights. For corners you will need to take up more space and will need to fill in some additional space.
Get your curved track pieces and put them together and see if they will fit in the corner now before you finish your benchwork. Remember corners are corners. While you may only have twelve inches on the wall you should probably 'fill in' the corners with a triangular piece piece anyway. Look around your home, when was the last time you stood in a corner? When you were five? So fill in that corner it is just wasted space anyway. Jim
