Arduinos--Raspberry Pi--Servos--Stepper Motors--ESP32--Encoders--ATX Power Supplies--Much More Getting back into model railroading got me back into electronics . I've looked at various online tutorials on the above items and more but today found what I should of been looking at all along. This guys web site..... https://dronebotworkshop.com/ .... and YouTube's..... https://www.youtube.com/c/Dronebotworkshop1/videos are fantastic. He really is great at explaining a subject in simple terms and with great videos. Highly recommended if you are looking into any of the above. Sumner
I had subscribed to that site last spring when I wanted to animate my roundhouse with an Arduino. There was so much great content, and although not railroad specific, it shows what can be done, and gave me the know how and ideas to get the most out of my projects. Thanks for sharing.
Here is the link to my roundhouse project: https://www.trainboard.com/highball...mulator-w-sound-arduino-nano-dfplayer.131392/ Here is the whole module electronics overview, the last few minutes are the underside showing the modules used:
Thanks, I thought I remembered the video and the welding sequence but couldn't find it. What a great scene and can't believe the detail in the roundhouse. I'm about ready to put my roundhouse files up after working on them a lot this past week. I'll never have the attention to detail that you have though. Great Work, Sumner
