http://www.watcocompanies.com/safety/timetable.htm Also has the A&O, Pat's new favorite shortline Hope you like
Interesting information. I was reading through their local operation. Of 29 pages, about four pages are actual timetable. All the rest of the publication is safety rules and regs. So much difference over the past I knew. Boxcab E50
Also found some errors. Amazing they have information on trackage that has been gone for several years. Maybe their engines can do off-track work? Also, mistakes in crossing gate info. Hmmmmmmmmmm...... Boxcab E50
I was looking at the page for the PCC, specifically the old NP/BN CW branch out of Spokane to Coulee City. Lots and lots of 10mph track now. Most was good for at least 25 when I first saw it 30 years ago.
Dan- That falls into line with what I've heard elsewhere about Watco. Run it into the ground, then beg for public assistance. (Tax money taken from me.) Their motive power seems to be the same. Didn't the state buy some of those lines? So you'll be paying to fix them up? Boxcab E50
Intesting reading... I must print the A&O's timetable... 1st edition! It may be a collector's item some day. Harold
Interesting thought! You may have something there! And- You now have me wondering about any other companies offering the same via their web sites??? Boxcab E50
Yup. Although the STB report did not say anything about the line to Coulee City, the rest of the lines are all but state property. I think the Coulee line is coming up. Looks like I am an "owner."
Bummer. I've nothing against keeping a line in place, and operating. But propping it up via taxation? Nope. Sorry. I don't enjoy the pain where my wallet once safely was resident. Soon, those poor saps over in King County, may be doing similarly. For the old NP Lake Washington Belt Line. Boxcab E50
