Great, JD! I don't know why, but I think that mirrors and cab shades do more for the detailing than anything else. Maybe some roof conduit, too.
Some closeup photo's with a new 1:1 60mm macro lens on my Nikon D-50 DSLR camera: Stay cool and run steam....
GREAT STUFF! I have some buildings I bought used, all done in red brick. I started changing some of the colors... before: In progress: Better pictures when I'm done. Here is another recent aquisition that is in need of paint. I'm not sure of the manufacture but this is a great model. It came built and there is lots of visible glue that I'm hoping paint will cover.
I bet you even have them hinged so if the engine is not in the lead of the consist you can fold them down.
Great ideas everyone... Finally got chance to put together a 'transfer' caboose for the BearCatRR. Still need weathering and decals... [ December 04, 2005, 09:29 PM: Message edited by: satokuma ]

This weekend I broke out my fantasy LNE U23B locomotives and ran them for awhile. Now let’s take you back to somewhere in the mountains of Pennsylvania circa 1970. A Western Maryland F7A and F7B are winding down their service handling a train of empties. They happen to pass a LNE general merchandise train headed by a couple of U23Bs.
Tom: Great shots of the diorama and the weathering is always outstanding. It's nice to see that entire train on your diorama... Stay cool and run steam.....
