Thanks Paul, I scratchbuilt it myself with plastruct material. The signals are n.j. international LEDS. Have them hooked up to mini switches for control. This is the first on the layout so far but I have six more in the works Dan
Looking good, Tom! I'm glad to see that ADN 2406 made it alright. It looks really good passing MP 46. I hope it provides good service for you.
I've finally had a little time arrange some pictures of Flash's layout. Tonight I'll share a few pictures of one of the corners of the layout. One of the things that impressed me is that although Flash has a large layout, he utilizes his space very well. In particular he fits interesting industries, or groups of industries in many of the corners his layout shape creates.
Most of his signs are simply printed on an inkjet printer and glued to the buildings. Most, if not all, of these industries really were in San Antonio in the seventies. He spent a few hours driving me around town to show me where the remaining buildings are. Many of course have changed tenants, have been abandoned or have been demolished. Personally speaking, I find it remarkable, not to mention inspiring, with modeling of prototypes to this degree! Note the detailing in the windows.
