[IMG] Weekend Modeling Photo Challenge "Multiple Units" Ends Tuesday February 23rd.

    **EXTENSION**
Due to the case of the Mondays, I made a big goof and posted the poll too soon. We got all that fixed, but for the majority of Monday morning, this contest was marked as closed. Because of that, it was suggested to extend this contest another day. Now anyone who might have wanted to post Monday morning can get a chance to do so.
The entry deadline is now Tuesday February 23rd at mignight (UTC -11)!

    Lets see those lash-ups!

*Please read all rules as they may have changed from previous weeks*
If you notice a typo, error, or confusing statement, please notify user Mark Watson immediately for correction and clarification.

Modeling Photo Challenge Topic: "Multiple Units"
    1. Challenges are open to everyone, have fun!!

    2. The entry deadline is Midnight (UTC -11), Tuesday February 23rd. Late entries will be accepted up until the official "Time's up!" post within the thread.

    3. For photos to be eligible they must be taken between Friday February 19th and Tuesday February 23rd.
Please use the challenge as a motive to take a new photographs!

    4. Any posts with images taken before the commencement of the challenge will not be included in the poll and may be moved to the cutting room floor thread.
    - Ensure dates and times on your camera are correct. -

    5. Only one image per participant so please choose the image carefully.

    6. Though realism is popular among voters, it is not required. Any image or snap shot related to the topic is acceptable!

    7. Though not required, commenting on other peoples pictures is encouraged.

    8. Please use the Cutting Room Floor thread for related but ineligible images.

    9. A cleaver and distinctive title for your image helps identify it among voters. (And makes it easier for me when posting the poll ;) )

On February 24th, all entries will be put up for a public vote, in which all members of TrainBoard may vote for their favorite entry(s), regardless of whether you submitted an entry or not. Voting will last 4 days. You may vote for multiple entries. To do this, you must select all entries for which you wish to vote at once, and then click the submit button.

Competition not your thing? No worries, head on over to the Weekend Photo Fun February 19, 2010. :D

I have done ZERO modeling in the past two weeks, this thing called "a job" is for the birds! Things have finally slowed down, and for the first time this month, I have a WEEKEND! This contest is just the thing to get me back in gear.

    The early shift

As the sun rises in the East, a pair of diesel locomotives sit idle. There's a boxcar behind them that needs to be unloaded.

a bunch of MUed engines here

a Santa Fe Local passes the yard while a DRGW switcher set switches the north end of the yard. a set of DRGW motive power idles waiting there next turn while in the distance of the yard a trio of DRGW motive power (SD50, SD45, and SD40T-2) wait on the departure track for a caboose. Several engine sets from the BN, Santa Fe, BC rail, and DRGW sit in the engine facility at right

Ok.. contrary to this morning, we are still open for business! We had to close the poll and copy everything to this new thread. It was suggested to extend the contest an extra day to allow any confusion to be overcome.

I apologize for this one. Now you know what happens when you post before you are fully awake. :p

Anyways, lets get some more entries in!!

Hope I am not too late.

Conrail leaves Houston staging yard on my layout. Lashup is CR/BN/LMX/CR/CNW. Types: SD45-2/GP40/B40-8/C40-8/SD60. Except for the SD45-2 (IM), all Atlas N scale.
