Hope we see some Christmas presents this weekend. Things should start to pick up.

    Very nice layout, Colonel.

I am getting to run my layout some, so I took these photos of the SAT-ELP westbound freight stopping in Uvalde, Texas to drop off cement hoppers. Notice the Popsicle at work.

Great photos everyone! What a way to bring 2007 to a close. 2007 brought Trainboard some excellent modeling, and I have no doubt 2008 will not disappoint! I am going to post a photo of what I think will be one of my best memories of modeling from 2007 for me.

    Great engines, Hemi.

I was getting to some switching today and found this MoPac caboose arriving on the Cotton Belt Blue Streak from Arkansas. It was on the rear of the train ahead of an SSW caboose. I haven't checked the paper work, but I presume it is headed for the San Antonio MoPac yard and will be transferred into the system somewhere south of here. Three switchers (SD9/SD7/GP20) temporarily move the caboose into the caboose track.

My N scale Espee C40-3 cab is becoming a reality. Next step, underframe master, then the "small details" mold. Five different molds just to get these parts. Probably be close to ten when I'm done.

thanks as you can see the grain terminal and stub ended yard is removable to enable us to play the Pinball.

While Old #293 handles a switchin' move at American Tool & Die, out on the main one on the company's new-fangled diesels rumbles out of Putney Tunnel with a northbound extra.

    Taken in the moments.

This year had many mile post moments for me. The best of them came when operating trains threw newly see nicked section for the first time and getting to see the work pay off. When you model G scale, these moments can be far apart becase it simpley takes to darn long to finish a seen.
