    Much of the U235 has been refined out so the remaining U238 is not quite as radio active. Uranium is still a very toxic heavy metal, especially when burned. I believe I will stick to tungsten which is much safer and actually weighs just a little more (grams per cubic centimeter) than uranium. 19.25 g/cm3 for tungsten versus 19.1 g/cm3 for uranium.
