    Looks very much like a coat of paint over weathered wood that hasn't seen paint in years. Very nice.

    I found that if I paint plastic with acrylic paint, using a brush, it comes out looking weathered with age. Also works with wood. Experiment with an old scrap piece.

    Candy, that's great, reminiscent of about half the old warehouses and small factories throughout northern New England. No need to waste money on pretties, doncha know. ;)
