Got some cars done this week from short to long!

This was an ECW 2001 Kit with widely spaced hatches, I removed the latching mechanism and mounted the hatches longitudinaly as the prototype was built, also added some sheet metal panels to replicate the Bethlehem Steel cars that the Reading purchased. Added airlines and A-line Sill Steps, painted with Scalecoat II Reading Green. Used a set of C&NW Covered Hopper and Reading Boxcar decals from Herald King as there is not a set for the only car in this class LOf that was painted in the Green and Yellow Reading scheme.

This is an Eel River 62' RBL used in the Coors Beer business, car built per kit instructions, painted with Scalecoat II Boxcar Red and lettered with Oddballs Decals. This goes with the white MP car I did a couple of years ago.

Walthers 86' PS Hi-Cube Auto Parts Car, Painted with Scalecoat II White, Floquil Platinum Mist and PC Green and then lettered with Microscale's Decal set for 86' Hi-Cubes. Class X60p were purchased new by the PC in 1969.

    Thanks for looking!

March 1, 1968. The Sanoma helpers, lead by Chicopee Road #2806 are idling on the main track awaiting a meet with an eastbound empty coal extra before bouncing across the crossovers and sliding into the helper pocket at Creston Tower 431.

This was an Seaboard Coast Line unit that was patched with black trim film and renumbered to my CC&CI roster. I don't mind the different paint combinations, if its black and yellow, It'll do! Still needs lettering on long hood and the shield under the cab windows. Somewhere around here them darned sunshades are hiding, too...

The empty coal extra, lead by GP30 #3285 and F7A #1617 plus two more roll by the Sanoma Helpers. Both 3285 and 1617 are in need of lettering on their long hoods and shields under the cab windows.
