Well, so far I have had pretty good luck. After putting in many hours repairing the brakes, bearings and other stuff on these two cars, the FRA inspectors OKed them to move from Houston to Austin this last week. Had to get a waver on the flat car with the KCS Good Cheer on it because it did not have a recent "regulation" brake test. However it had new angle cocks and brake shoes and held air real well. This is a shot of them leaving Houston last week.
