Open House at the Sebring (Ohio) Model Railroad Club this past weekend (and this coming weekend). Lots of activity inside, plus food, beverages, snacks...[IMG]

...and, of course, plenty of activity on the NS mainline outside including this one that stopped due to a false trigger of their PSR system rewiring a stop and reset.[IMG]

That entire new section will be our port facility with rail barges, docks, warehouses, and lots of cool stuff. They tore out that entire section after last year's open house and now have the bench work completed, all the mainlines restored, and the majority of the switches and switch machines installed. After this year's open house ends, we'll move on to the completion of the rail spurs and scenery (including a LOT of simulated water).

Sounds very interesting. Like Kurt, and being from that same area, I am also a fan of rail barges, tugs and such scenes. Please post any photos possible that that project's progress!

    Thank you!
Z scale allows you to move the layout into the sun.
There is nothing better than real sun light to highlight the details.
Another example given, look at the shadow of the palm tree --> 1:220 !!
    Best,
    Sven
