Russell, I like that string of covered hoppers behind the engines!
I managed to get some work done this week:
Kadee PS 2003 CF Covered Hopper, (a great detailed kit by the way) painted with Scalecoat II MofW Gray and lettered with Microscale Decals.
Eastern Car Works Enterprise Covered Hopper kit, used by the NYC and subsidiaries. This is the 6th kit of this car I have done, 4 NYC and 2 P&E. This time I used a Plano Roofwalk in place of the kit supplied one, added air lines where needed and replaced the cast on sill steps with A-Line sill steps. Car was painted with Scalecoat II MofW Gray and lettered with Mark Vaughn Decals.
While at the club open house last weekend took a few more shots of my PRR Ore Train powered by detailed Stewart C-628 & C-630 with 36 Stewart/Bowser G39 ore cars.
Thanks for looking!
Something from an old layout. Jim
A trio of Alcos crossing Hammer Creek.
I'm proud of this shop. I researched it online so I would know what to do with the insides. I think I got it right.
Nice .. Grampy posted his beautiful models followed by Candy. Why do I feel like I've just been neutered?
I am working on my Fueling Rack
Passengers hurry to catch the local Santa Fe mixed train in East Hannah Vista, pulled by a 2-6-2 Prairie.
The TV screens look amazingly real. Faller makes a "flickering TV circuit" that would be perfect for your TV shop! I have one in a bar on my layout.
Cool. Reminds me of such stores, when I was a small boy.
WOW. You must have one heck of a nice camera. This picture is so sharp, so crisp.
I'll have a look at it. Thanks John
Here we see the only D&RGW GP35 to receive the Bill Board Rio Grande, along with a leased SWP GP38-2.
Great work everybody...
Quite the interesting story about that lone GP35's lettering.
Yes, it was wrecked near Swan, Colorado, and sent back to EMD. When the Grande recived it, it had the large RIO GRANDE and updated inertial air filter...
