I have not done much to the layout so I only have a recycled photo to share. Now that its cooling off a bit I may just get some work done and finish this scene and move on to the next section.

My plans are to do the section just left of this area along the back of the layout.
JD, I always enjoy your photos and HarryII you must have made quite an impact on these kids, good job.

For the past couple of weeks I've been working on two old Mantua flatcars. I cut the horrible looking tops off them (made for culvert pipe I think) and leveled them off with some wallboard joint compound. I now have the new deck down on one of them and it looks really good.

This photo shows what they were like when I got them:

Here's how they looked after I cut them down and painted them:

And here's the one I've completed:

An old photo that I came across today. WAG 1700 slugging it out against gravity on a hot Aug. day.

I saw the photo and started thinking that I haven't had good French Toast in a long time. Now I am hungry.

Nothing new from me either, but here is an old pic of a kitbash I did some time back:

Frisco 54' woodrack, kitbashed from the Walthers GSC Bulkhead Flatcar kit, some sheet styrene, Reefer Yellow paint, leftover decals, weathering chalks, and Kadee couplers.

No, I didn't kitbash the Frisco Russian in the background......................:D
