A scene I have been working on to put on my Rosenberg NTRAK module. I just added the little folding ramp for loading and unloading box cars from the loading dock.
Looks good, Russell. I like the tanks, too. I have added photos of some rolling stock. I made these cars a long time ago. All basic Micro Trains cars. WP "feather" car. All chalk. Bob Batson's Texas Central. All acrylic. Cotton Belt. Union Pacific double door. All chalk.
Wonderful start to the weekend. Dang,Flash- What spilled on the SSW boxcar? That looks like quite a nasty substance. Have a good one, Wolf
Nice work everyone. Flash - was that some sort of toxic spill on your Cotton Belt boxcar? :tb-wink: A very interesting pattern. Here's some switching action on a nice sunny day:
Could be. I was going to weather it a little more so it isn't so harsh. It looks incomplete. Might have been an early experiment with Rustall. Pretty nice WP boxcar you have, too. I like that one.
Bruce, aside from the overall effect and the great models, I sure like the colour in your images. They look like they are on a plasma or modern LCD HDTV.
Very nice work everyone. DJ that creek is beautiful. My RS-11 has an outing I accidentally spilled a load of dried tealeaves over the rocks [fell from the shelf above] and I like 'em there :tb-biggrin: Mike
Mike: The scene above w/ the RS-11 looks really good. Something about that. The scenery and the lighting look good together.
Me too!!! It looks like the great flood from last year left some debris too close to the tracks ratled
Between Railroad Line Forums and this one, I am convinced we have the best modeling and imagery going. My hat is off.....waaaay off....to you fellas. So....(cough)...here is my offering for the week. A Pennsy Q2 rumbled onto the Seneca Highlands mine spur toward the Sentinel Mine with empty coal loads. Fortunately, it is mostly uphill to the mine, despite this junction, and towing the full hoppers later won't be such a chore. However, once the engine and consist are through this junction, it's a heavy haul once again. Fortunately, the Q2 is just the mighty tractive giant for the job. -Crandell
Awesome Detail Mike, The detail in these photos is absolutely amazing!!! I like the tea leaves too. How'd you get your water to ripple like that? Awesome modeling!!!
Here are a couple shots of my On30 modules. They are being built to the standards of the Texas Outlaws and California Central Coast. This first shot is an overview of the first two modules with my N scale layout in the background. Looking the other way... Not the best shot in the world, but my BLI C-16 that I converted to oil and am making resemble an SPNG engine.
More great shots. Love them! Justincase I stood over the drying resin for at least an hour and a half and I lost count of how many times I had to run the pointy end of a bamboo skewer through it before the ripples started to take. Mike
