    Russell, nice opening picture!

Nothing accomplished this week, but here are some pictures of my new New Haven FL9's at the club.

These are awesome looking and running locomotives, I got the straight DC version but they are great.

Since I drive a new Beetle, I thought I would include an old Beetle in my scene

Here's a photo of a scratchbuilt turntable, made from brass. I can't take credit for the build, as it was built by the late Pete Ellis of Cascade, MT. I am guessing that it is well over 40 years old. It is powered by a motor from a player piano. It was donate to me when Pete built an addition onto the building housing his layout and eliminated that town where the turntable was situated.

It is really amazing what pioneers in the hobby could come up with when the structures and other products we take for granted weren't available.

Incredible shot, montanan! These houses across the street would be any railfan's dream home!

Always loved your pictures, Grampy and Candy!

Does someone actually sell castings for those SP lights? Or did you make your own?

It's been on my layout for over 25 years. Pete had it on his layout for who knows how long before that.

That just completely reminds me of the car I learned to drive in. VW, at least at the time, called the color Clementine.

Candy, your "old" baby appears to be a '74. My wife loved her blue '74, but it caused a minor problem within our family. She heard one of our sons tell someone that "Mom went out every morning and put on her car". o_O

My very first car was a yellow '74 Super Beetle. I've had many VWs since. My favorite was my '65 bus.
