    And then some of these units were exported to Cuba, where I spot this sample (Havana railroad museum). Funny, the railroads in this country, a mix of american prototype (Janney coupler, number boards, roller bearing trucks, and a handle of authentic GE C30-7s imported from Mexico) and soviet prototype, all these russian diesels, freightcars, etc... :)

    The Russians were notorious copycats of American tech. Their first nuclear weapon was a copy of the Trinity test device. They copied the B-29 Superfortress as well as other stuff seen here: https://io9.gizmodo.com/incredible-soviet-rip-offs-of-western-technologies-973280252)
