*Please read all rules as they may have changed from previous weeks*
If you notice a typo, error, or confusing statement, please notify Mr. Train or Mystere immediately for correction and clarification.

Prototype Photo Challenge Topic: "6 Axles"

    1. All challenges close at 10pm Pacific Standard Time, and will be noted with a "Time's up!" post within the thread.
    2. Please use the challenge as a motive to take a new photograph rather than using a photograph that you have taken in the past.
    3. Challenges are open to everyone, have fun!!
    4. Though not required, commenting on other peoples pictures is encouraged.
    5. Only one image per participant so please choose the image carefully.
    6. Please use the Cutting Room Floor thread for related but ineligible images.
    7. Any posts with images taken before the commencement of the challenge will not be included in the poll.
    8. For photos to be eligible they must be taken by a TB member between Friday Aug 7th and Monday Aug 10th.
    9. Ensure dates and times on your camera are correct.
    10. On Aug 11th, all entries will be put up for a public vote, in which all members of Trainboard may vote for their favorite entry(s), regardless of whether you submitted an entry or not. Voting will be unlimited multiple choice.

We look forward to seeing many contributors, remember this is to encourage all photographers to take a shot of the subject rather than post a photo taken in the past.

*Also, throughout the month of August, we will be holding our 2nd video contest! These will be held as completely separate contests from the photo challenges. :shade:

Opps, took the pic out of date (24 Jul) Damn, there are no trains around here!
Here's my attempt: A ES44AC leading a stack train down hill passing behind a depressed center flat in Portola CA, taken from the railfan platform at the WP Railroad Museum.

    C&O 1309 2-6-6-2

I found a train! I was in Baltimore this afternoon and had a few minutes to get to the B&O Museum as they were closing. 1309 is in the parkiing lot so I didn't even have to pay to get a couple pics.

Wow, talk about being dead even with a 6 way tie for first and 1 vote difference between first and last at this point. Could we see a 7-Way tie by the end?

For the most part modeling and prototype take turns with each every other weekend. So the prototype will be back next weekend. In the meantime vote here and enter the model contest.
