    You got my VOTE

Actually as a Fallen Flags Moderator and the host of our "Fallen Flags Brotherhood" Group I am a HUGE fan of any shot that captures equipment of days gone by. Who knows, your shot might be the last one ever taken of those two engines that everyone else wished they would have taken when they had the chance. Sure, if you had time maybe you could have cropped out the finger but first things first, you got the shot and shared it with us.

    22 voters, 2 days left! Can we get 30 voters?! :D :D

Thats the beauty of the "weekend" time frame. Small imperfections need not be worried about. It brings the focus to the content more so than the presentation. :)

Good point. It was literally a "shoot from the hip" thing. I see these same two locos every day around lunch (if I walk). They must turn them somewhere, because I noticed today that they've swapped ends. In my photo, the one in front is missing one "O" and part of the other one. Today, all the letters were there, at least on the side facing me. I'll have to find out the route they run...

I think these guys go by my office. The tracks are right outside my window and I get treated to their show twice a day; in the morning heading south, and returning in the early afternoon.

Sure looks like the same ones. I'll try to get close enough to catch the numbers next time I see them. I usually only see them from a distance, unless I get lucky and time my walk just right.

    What a small world! :)

By the way, I moved your post with the CSX lash-up to the Cutting Room Floor thread. I'll leave the post quoted above here since its related to Tracy's entry. :)

Also, this week I'm giving out an honorable mention award to gpa!

This image was an ineligible shot Greg took one week before the contest began. Since he stuck to the rules and posted this to the Cutting Room Floor, I wanted to acknowledge his honesty. Great shot Greg!
