Just wondering what other fourm members got for Christmas? I received some Atlas street and parking lot sets and some N scale figures. I feel really sorry for the "little people" because my layout is set in the summer and five of six of them are wearing jackets and long sleeves. But at least they won't bump into each other when walking along the streets or in the parking lots at night. I did get some Christmas cash with which to purchase my new Kato ALC-42 Charger and lighting kit that I ordered right before Christmas in anticipation of said cash.

I got what I need to start learning to build #7 Fast Track switches. Now all I need is time. I thought that was supposed to come with being retired!

I think some of us ordered our OWN Christmas gifts early or to be delivered before or after Christmas. I got mine a week or so ago. New Kato P42 Operation Lifesaver, Digitrax DCC decoder, WS Pedestal Traffic lights, Kato Viewliner cars, etc...

Hey it's the thought that counts :) But also why we buy our own stuff. Like the Cash you got for your Kato ALC-42 Charger, cause you know what to get :) I'm thinking about preordering it, maybe!

Not N Scale, but a book I've wanted for a while. I have a number of Ken Kobus' books and they're excellent, packed with excellent pictures from long gone eras. I'm fairly familiar with the area, so it should be an enjoyable read. Oh, and also ...

That's my story. I ordered a new 3D printer on a pre-"Black Friday" sale so that's my big gift. I also bought some locomotives for parts for the things I'll be making with the new printer. I'm impossible to shop for as far as hobby stuff goes, so I tend to take care of the big ticket items myself. :D To help family I do make a list for them to pull from - oddball stuff like paint thinner, paints, isopropyl alcohol, UV resins or Filament, basically small cost items that I actually do need to keep the printers or lasers humming.

Anyway, I'm super happy with my new printer. Thanks Santa!

Nothing! Not that I have been bad this year. It's just I have what I need at the moment for MRR. I am saving holiday cash as backup for Amherst at the end of next month. You never know what you are going to find there!!! :D

Only presents were from HP and Lively. My new computer and flip phone both melted down. So that's been my fun and will be for a while. New smart phone and computer with the wonderful Windows 11.

    Oooh, can I come over?!

I bought my son a 3D printer for Christmas, which he wanted, with the slightly selfish intent of having him print me a few things.
Well, turns out he got me my own 3D printer for Christmas! So now I can print to my heart's content and build up a huge backlog of things that need to be painted.

Healthy, really? Just kidding, enjoy your beverage's! My brother-in-law calls them Toddy's ( sp? ), not sure if that is real or he made it up. But he enjoys them :)

In December I bought an Atlas Shay, and on the 25th I Christmas gifted myself some stuff to go along with that :D

A few three pack kits from N Scale Kits in the UK for a total of...
    Twelve 25' log spine cars
    Three 25' flat cars
    Three 35' flat cars

And the book "The Fossmill story: Life in a railway lumbering village on the edge of Algonquin Park", for research!

A ton of books, some of which I have pretty much no interest in but no such thing as a book I don't want. Some fun antique toys including an old 50s potmetal BP tow truck I loved as a kid but took all the paint off of when I sprayed it with OFF! because I wanted to play with it outside (hey, kids do dumb **** sometimes). This one still has all its skin

No train stuff at all, I have given them strict instructions not to buy ANYTHING without checking first - I'd end up with key-wind O scale locos and Z scale scenery otherwise lol

Spending the time with family was worth more to me than anything I opened tbh. Sounds like a bad Hallmark movie, totally agree, but the older my folks get the more I appreciate the time I get to spend with them.

No trains stuff per say but i bought 6 model I would say s scale steam engines for the Christmas tree. They look so good on the tree!! I still plan to get a working scale train of the polar express. I got a "police scanner" and some bedroom sneakers. New gloves for the winter. Its really cold and got one of those pairs of Thinsolate gloves.Got a couple of videos and a couple of cd's. Also a new keyboard for the computer. My old one died on me. All and all a good year.
