Found one article that it closed o/a 2014 and was going to be sold at auction, then found another article stating the Auction winners had to raise money to pay their winning bid. Anyone know what happened, why this fantastic looking place didn’t make it, and where trains and structures went?
It was like a smaller, American version of Minatur wonderland, but unfortunately located in a rural location…. In New York City area or Boston, it might have made it. Although I think I recall someone tried to run one of these in NYC and it didn’t make it. The European themed “Charlemagne’s Kingdom” in Hellen, GA closed in the last year or so as well.
Actually I believe this display was at the Citibank Headquarters on Lexington Avenue in NYC. It was taken down several years ago.
