I ordered a couple of GHQ pewter kits and was wondering what is the best glue I should use to assemble them. I heard epoxy glue is best, but I really don't want to have to mix two parts to get a workable glue.

Anything else I can try? Thanks for any help.

    Learn to silver solder.

    Mixing epoxy isn't so hard.

I used super glue on the ones I built. I started with the Zap-Gap gel super glue (green label and I think that is the right name) from the hobby shop but switched to Gorilla Glue super glue (blue cap) because it was a bigger bottle for less money and I could get it at the grocery store.

I'll second the Gorilla Glue. Good stuff, bigger bottle and the stuff is cheaper too! I've also used GORILLA Epoxy. Easy to mix and use. Check out their website: https://www.gorillatough.com/ They have all kinds of adhesives!

I treat white metal kits similar to resin kits. If you're gluing smaller detail parts, superglue is probably fine, but you may want to be more careful with the joint on larger parts that take more load like body panels. Nothing's worse than picking up a model by the cab and the chassis and wheels fall out from the bottom.

Even if you're still using super glue on them, get a better-quality or professional grade glue. The last time I built a resin kit, I used a gel-type glue to tack parts together, and then flowed a better liquid-type glue into the joint as the final joint. Gel glue can also be used a gap filler in a pinch, it's caught on in the scale model kit world, and super glue debonder allows pretty fine control of the glue. You can clean up joints after you place a part, so any glue that squeezes out can easily be wiped away.
