River Point makes PE mirrors which I installed on mine and a few other trucks but I agree as nice as those models are they should have come with those. Trainworx has spoiled me.
River Point now has Bundles on their N Scale trucks. Even cheaper then before if you like the bundle. Man they must have had a ton of these things left when Atlas bought them? https://rps-vehicles.myshopify.com/collections/n-scale-trucks
Interesting that all the 'bundles' pictures show 4 trucks each yet the descriptions only list 3. Hmmmmmmmm
Well the description is correct me thinks as it does list each vehicle set which each does have 2 trucks in them which equals 4, but they also list mirrors which I can not find on the site by themselves? Some of mine came with mirror's and some did not. These: (1) N37-5L02.00 (Mirrors) Here you go, makes sense now, so you get 2 sets of trucks and the mirror's I don't need any more, but I am gonna order some though. They are usually $15.00 for a set and the mirror's are $5.00. That would normally be $35.00 but you get them for $22.50, as least the way I read it? Time to place another order. I think this is order #4 over the last 4-6 month's I'm gonna have to add a truck/car lot I guess
I think you were the one that originally told us about them? Or me at least? You get the mirror's too?
Yep-all there. Still haven’t installed mirrors on any of them yet. Might be up for it once I get back to the US Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Glad to know there are 4 in the bundle. That being said the description does not add up to 4 This N Scale bundle includes (1) N36-L657.02 (Yellow), (1) N38-3JL9.G9 (DPW), and (1) N37-5L02.00 (Mirrors) That equals 3...not 4 ... .
I meant you get 4 vehicles total I think that is what they mean, I guess? Me thinks I am going to order a few bundles too even though I don't need them Just a great deal! To me was a deal at $7.50 per vehicle, now at roughly $5.50, even better, plus some extra mirror's.
I wish that Walthers would have done the Transfer Table in N scale. They only made it in HO. The Transfer Table goes perfectly with their car servicing and locomotive servicing structures.
Placed a Walther's order yesterday which includes some track and an engine house. Received some Santa Fe Heavyweight Observation cars [anybody need an extra?] and some resin printed cars, depending on the length of the powered chassis coming in, the bus or panel truck will become the front end of a galloping goose.
I like the 1st generation Amtrak version with 'the pointless arrow'. Getting a few pieces of rolling stock and track is good.
A couple more Fox Valley locomotives, decals for them and other projects, and some of those weathered airslide hoppers that came out this fall. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Check out Jason Jensen Trains on BoobTube....it ain't N, but he builds ALOT of laser structures and he is God. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=jason+jensen+trains
Wow, thanks for that heads up...that's a sweet deal...free shipping too....yes, please. Snagged a couple or three.
So I haven’t been doing much with trains lately, but I have moved back into it now that my sailboat is gone. Oh I miss Luna, but that’s ok, I will own another one someday. But that brings me to now, I bought some trains! Amtrak 50th anniversary dark blue Speaking of blue, I discovered this gorgeous train set on Monday, ordered it from Japan and it showed up today! I can’t wait to see it on the rails, it appears to already have the lighting kit installed. The translation as best as I can find is Sapphire Dancer or Blue Dancer. Next up from my friends over at PnP Trains are a couple Japanese commuter trains. This is an mis-boxed train, it’s not what belongs, but it has a power car, just missing half of the cars. If any of you know the set number I would appreciate it. Here is the other half of the mis-boxed set, but this is actually what is supposed to be in the box! I will buy another set and use these as add in cars. This is a special train that had Kato labeling on the locos and all the cars. This was a promotional deal with JR West, there was a prototype and here is the model… or at least half. No power car in this bunch. I also got some track and an old Bachmann Class J that isn’t one of the good newer ones, but it will do just fine as a park display somewhere.
