Great work Robert!
Great job! looks really nice a good touch to your layout!
I just draw it in Corel Draw, print on a color laser printer, and use the laser engraver to cut out the paper printout to the same size as the building walls and glue them on.
You’ve captured the shape and paint as the prototype. Looks fantastic so far! Are you going to to paint the sides with the diamond paint, then goes to white like the prototype? Can’t wait to see the finish results! You’ve always impress me with what you can come up with!
Just like the prototype
Good eye on the paint scheme especially with the diamonds being canted at an angle. I never understood that, and saw it at a UHAUL dealership when I lived in Arizona. When I first saw it, I was thinking that “somebody really screwed that paint job up”. But then I saw it at another dealership. So there must be some UHAUL “madness” reason behind it.
Working on pallets of interior goods for the U Haul operation:
The windows look great, just like the prototype! The loads look great as well!
Wow, that's some details!
I gotta show this to my neighbor, long retired VP of Vehicle Vetter.
Decal for the U Haul store
Very nice Robert! I can honestly say I’ve never seen the propane trucks in my neck of woods. Very cool.
Every barn is a little different from one to another with color, style, weathering and what is around or in the barn. This is my interpretation of a barn that is has been around for awhile with weathered paint from the elements and a roof that needs to be repaired. Robert cut this out on his laser printer, and said go for it! The tool rack was from Archristories Garage Kit, with the rope is from my wife's thread supply. The barn has
been a fun project to work on!
Very nice barn! I particularly like the roofing and the weathering of the wood.
Nice details on the barn. It’s just like Robert Ray’s.
As I said, it's not a bridge without the flashing red lights.
For some reason, I can't post images directly. So you can see it in the attached file.
Edit: I found that your file somehow was not allowing display in the post, so I screen captured the file, then saved as a.jpg, and posted for you. -Robert
Real nice job weathering the barn. The shingles look great and I like the holes and exposed roof planks.
Nice work on the bridge lights.
Here’s the latest building thanks to Robert Ray! A great addition for my U Haul fleet! Has complete lighting and interior!
Here is the Propane Island that Walter designed for the project, but it will be in February before Shapeways can get to it:
Incredible.. simply incredible. Love it!
