Who is responsible for removing (deleting) ads from the TrainStore?

More then once I have contacted a seller to ask questions about an item I see in the TrainStore ads only to get a response like…
    “I sold them on EBay.”
    “Their all gone.”
“That is an old ad. Don’t have any of that stuff.”
“They are on Ebay, you can bid on them there.”
It is frustrating as a buyer to find something of interest only to find out it is not available.

    EDIT
I have had excellent experiences and transactions using the TrainStore and have picked up some great items here.

    Gary-

We regularly delete ads. After a certain time period, they are automatically taken down.

However, with those situations you've described, all are failures of the seller. When an item is sold, it should be marked as such with the "Sold" feature. If it is otherwise unavailable, the ad should be removed by the poster or a Staff member requested to do that same task. Without input from that seller, we can only guess a listing is still available.

We have an area for listings which are on that auction site. Listings intended as such should ONLY be there. Redirecting from a 'for sale' listing to another site is simply poorly thought.
