Evergreen does make clear styrene in 0.13mm thickness which is super-clear (imho) and thin. If i am not mistaken (i haven't used in for some time), it is compatible with styrene cements.

If one wishes, the clarity / smoothness (and in particular the latter), of clear parts, can be improved using polishing compounds.

BoxcabE50, if you are interested, there are special CA glues that do not fog-up clear parts. One in particular that i have used, does polish up very well (imho).

    I have been using this

    https://www.deluxematerials.co.uk/gb/rc-modelling/45-roket-odourless-5060243900371.html

From what i can see Zap brand also makes an odorless CA glue that should have similar properties (foam safe, purple label). I haven't used this particular one, but i use Zap's other CA glues with success (in other applications).

The idea is that i have been able to glue, sand, blend and polish with this (deluxe) glue many times in the past. I tend to also use it as a "filler" for clear parts that do not have good fit (canopies, etc).

I hope this helps out. Let me know if you need any more info.
