Has anyone here had windows 10 give any issues here on this site?? My hard drive crashed and windows 7 was acting flaky. I am installing windows 10 to see if its any better. If not, Then they will have to send me another hard drive and return this one.

I know that we do have a fair number of W10 users.

I use W 10 with the Chrome browser . No problems here ! You MAY have problems installing W 10 if your drive crashed .... You should scan the drive first to make sure all of the operating systems are intact and working correctly .

Just to be the wet blanket, I have heard of privacy issues with the way W10 supposedly stores/connects. That's purely hearsay, but I was personally tickled to find a refurbished laptop a while ago with 7 on it.

I'll stay with my Win 7 as long as I can due to the security issues Eagle2 mentioned. My son is a computer geek and he advises staying away from Win 10 for as long as you can. Big brother is watching

I use Windows 10 with Mozilla Firefox with no problems. Originally this computer came with Windows 8.1 installed.

My second computer originally came with Windows 7 and was easily converted to Windows 10 with no issues.
