Loco1999: When you rebuild your trackwork , the layout will look just as good. Take your time and enjoy..... Stay cool and run trains on Unitrack.....
Thanks guys for the compliments! John Sing and John Great looking layout shots! Loco1999 Great layout pics. The B&W really give it a great feel!
Here are a few shots from the Passenger Station Diorama. These are of my Atlas LNE S-2 # 616. As you can see the diorama still needs some work.
Thanks Flash! Yes it is a kit. I posted my progress on this diorama a while back at What I've Been Up to Latelyassenger Station Diorama . I am hoping to get back to working on this again soon. The area below the wall is supposed to be a creek and the wall in the background is an abutment for a bridge spanning the railroad and the creek. I am a railfan at heart. When I plan the dioramas I am looking at them that I will be railfanning them. So I try to make them so I get railfan type pictures.
Excellent work and pictures guys Tom, that station looks just right for my new layout! Do you know if they are still available?
Hi folks, I know this is a little late, but since I extended my weekend an extra day, here goes. I was playing around with the camera looking for something different. This is a recently almost completed Ye Olde Huff-n-Puff flat car (HO). Despite all the great RTR stuff available these days, I still prefer metal and wood, even if the detailing isn't as good:
Overshoe: I like it! The natural products do not have to be weathered to look like wood or metal. I started using styrene because the club I was in used it a lot. They had temperature and humidity extremes, so there was a lot of expansion and contraction problems, especially in structures. Styrene was a way to solve that. Very nice flat car. Nice and prototypically low riding; not toy like. Very nice.
Just got back into town last night. I have a lot of catching up to do. As usual, the photos here are great. Here is an old one of mine. Sunset reflecting off the windows of a building on my NTRAK modules.
