Does anyone know anything about the availability of train service jobs at Central Oregon & Pacific? Is it as good a railroad to work for, and does it pay as much, as UP or BNSF?
I know that they pay union wages and they were hiring a couple of months ago. A couple of guys from the McCloud RR are now working for them out of Weed, CA. They seem to have decent equipment to work with too, but you'll have to speak with an employee to find out what it's really like. Sometimes looks are deceiving.
I suggest that you join the CORPfan group over at Yahoo. There are several active CORP rails on that list that should be able to answer your questions. Jeff Moore Elko, NV
