    This was an $8 swap meet find that I used gap filling / gel super glue, gray primer, & dry brush & powders to weather.

    Hi Tomkat,

    That looks great. I've got one of those on the shelf. It didn't store too well over the years. That is going to be a great scene on your layout. Thanks for posting pictures.

    Looks like it has seen some long, hard years of use. Blistering sun, pounding rain, winds and snows.

    Yes this was a California Models kit same as the Suydam kit. I added ramps & the little hut. This will be a background building. Even being not as detailed as today kits with a little work with signs & weathering you can turn these old kits into passable structures. I try to pick these kits up cheap at our club's swap meet. Since a lot of folks can not solder & being less detail as modern kits some dealers sell these a lot cheaper.
