Was wonderin if anyone out there could tell me why my scanner is now leaving huge yellow or green stripes across my scanned images? Do ya think the bulb is goin? Do I just need to put it in the driveway like we used to do with aluminum cans in the old days? Perhaps it is software related? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
John- I would hope it's software related! Do you by chance have a friend nearby w/computer? Who would allow you to hook it up to his machine? That might be the simplest test. If it worked on his, then you'd be certain of corrupting bytes...... Boxcab E50
I'll have to check that out. During my recent big scanning project, I could get half the screen to clear up if I preview my first pic about a dozen times. Guess I had to get it good and warmed up. Still though, a few pics got through with yellow stripes. On some I managed to take out most of it but I'm not that good with a photo program either, though I'm loving PSP7.
