HO Gauge track, granted it's OO scale, but still the same track. Great scenery and bridges.
Wow. That is nice! He did a great job of incorporating natural elements. Really like the bridge of that little pond at the beginning.
The only thing I do not like about layout videos like this, is that it makes me want to tear out my layout and start over. You must mean this bridge: http://www.oogardenrailway.co.uk/download/file.php?id=2599
Very nice. If I was going to get into modeling, I think I would like to do something like that. There is a fascination with a layout outside.
Beautiful ! Absolutely beautiful ! How many hours have you put into this creation, Geeky ? I have to say ... with my 'warped' sense of humor, I can't help having a vision of one of Colorado's Red-tail hawks swooping down to grab what it may think is a garden snake as the train rolls along ! Toldya it's warped !
Well, the equipment could be protected by hot catenary. The Brits run a lot of electric lines which could be modeled here. So just convert to 1000 volt overhead and the hawk problem is solved. The same hawk will never repeat, and the word should get around very quickly. Probably work for neighborhood kids too.
That is impressive. Particularly caught by the little quarry scene and the deck bridge just after the 3 minute mark - the length of that is quite something!
It's not my layout Bill. Mine is much less impressive, but I still have a 47 foot double mainline, which would never happen in my 800 sq. ft. home. I found another video of the layout here: Pretty cool shots of a garrett pulling a string of coal cars.
This layout is simply impressive. All too often outdoors stuff seems toy-like, in it's setting. This seems so very realistic. Wow.
