Here I am just coming back from Idaho Springs from lunch plus taking a few photos of Colorado Southern #60 there that I wanted but always forgot my camera and was just driving back home. My wife and I don't have plans for the afternoon so I decided to take a few photos of Englewood and both Littleton Depots since I never had taken any photos of them and they have since been shifted to support RTD Light Rail along US-85 (Santa Fe Blvd.) and couldn't believe my eyes.

There it is, just sitting there right were one could walk right up a take a nice clean picture.

I took this angle to to "Pinch" myself later that I'm was truly in Denver and seeing a Delaware and Hudson.

Yep nice to see those. I saw a couple of them within the last few months, one in Galesburg yard and one in a grain elevator at Carrolton, MO.

I saw a bunch of D&H lettered hoppers like the one pictured above in Tacoma last month. We were on our way to Camp 6 Logging Museum for one of the NMRA tours and the bus ran down by the water for part of the drive along a string of hoppers just like this one. It was a little too quick for me to get my camera out, but the reporting marks were like this one, some other leasing company and no longer D&H (although the herald and large letters were still there).

    Cool & Bummer...

Many Railfans never think to photograph the freight cars but I would love to get as many photos of them as possible too.

The D&H was had some nice ones like this one [IMG]

These are VERY special box cars and would enjoy posting this and any others that I can into the DHVM.

Here is #50131 from that same series of "I LOVE NY" box cars

    According to the BLHS
but later state that there were 167 built.

In the book below it states that there were 200 planned and the paint patterns did vary from car to car slightly (Page#68).
