Seems like just random M-T cars have been going for big bucks lately on the online auction places for Z-scale, so does anyone know of a database for M-T cars and former runs and discontinued stock? I'm starting to wonder if some of my random purchases over the years are starting to have value.
Micro Trains has several databases available listing body style types and every model type built. You can find a link to them at the bottom of the M-T home page, appropriately called "Databases." As far as prices, the M-T database lists only the MSRP for the item, which you can get from the bottom of your box anyway. As far as the auction prices, as P.T. Barnum never said: "There's a sucker born every minute." I've watched sky high auction prices for items available on ztrackresale.com or even directly from the manufacturer at MSRP and lower. Mark
Exactly! I seen an Ebay auction yesterday for 4 just random cars, (3 I've had), that went for almost $250.00!! I looked around, and other places have them for $20 or less!
