Where is the best place to start researching an interest in Z Scale? Is there a monthly magazine? Thanks

www.ztrains.com is a very good source of info. Especially the tune up tips on the locomotives.

One of the best places to get Z Scale information is the Z Scale Yahoo Group with over 1300 members.

    http://groups.yahoo.com/group/z_scale/

The good thing about Trainboard is you can post photos in the threads, and all the replies are in a single thread, where Yahoo just puts them all one after another 9in a list.

I wish more people who visit the Yahoo Z group would come over here.

We need those folks over here to get this forum going.... I have been doing a lot of looking at Z scale the last two days... I can't wait to get a few pieces and get started.

All I have in Z so far are some MTL trucks (ready for fitting to some spine cars - and maybe others).

I think those are still available but are about $500-600 now. It's a brass model made by Ajin for AZL. You can check availability at www.ztrack.com on the AZl inventory page.
