Am looking for a couple of answers. I know that the Z&W was a NYC predecessor. But was it absorbed directly into the NYC? Or into the Toledo & Ohio Central RY, then NYC? I have found a date for it being absorbed of June, 1938. Is this correct? Does anyone have an exact day? Boxcab E50
Ken, that's a new one on me, being the Mohawk Division (New Yawk) kid. I did find this table in a web search: T&OC Home page
That table you've linked indicates that Z&W did indeed go into the T&OC. So it appears that I have one of my two questions answered! They also give the year 1938. So at least that part of what I can find appears to be confirmed. Now if I can get just a complete date! Boxcab E50
