Nice! Love the grass growing in the industrial trackage...I hope to replicate something similar on my layout soon. Looking forward to more progress as well!

Wow, like watching a time lapse movie! Thanks for all the detail images. Lots of good ideas. Like what you did with the End module spur track !

I started to create some small items for future use on the layout:

    Construction for feeding animals:
    IMG_1062.JPG
    Already with some food

    IMG_1173.JPG

First item to create childrens' playing ground:

    IMG_1074.JPG
Scrap-box is a a good friend of railway modeller. I used some unused art of KIBRI German houses (wood constructions) to create shed for cars:

    IMG_1077.JPG
    IMG_1080.JPG
    Bus stops were also created:

    IMG_1116.JPG
    IMG_1117.JPG

I also invented a technique to create fence - hedge. As a basis i used abrasive mate (net ?) cut to the size with some foliage. To make it I used the white glue. By using different "green" materials you can have several types of this kind of fence.

It is time to start to build Zellin village. The first buildings (mainly KIBRI products) are already in their places:

Pawel, how did you mark the white lines on the roadway?

I like the pink/red bushes. Well done technique.
You can also get brown abrasive pads that add more contrast the sprinkled green/red.

The white lines were very easy. This road is a commercial NOCH product. You can find more information HERE

Construction month No 4 (April) Part IV (and the last one for the month):

Some more brick KIBRI houses. By coincidence I developed a new technique you can see on the photo placed below. During some walk with my wife next to the nearby lake I noticed cones of black alder. They were used to create small bushes on the left hand side of the building.

Another Faller building with some vegetable garden:

    and shelter for cars:

I really like how your shrubs turned out. I'm going to be borrowing that mini cone bush idea. I like bushes 2,3, and 5 from the left. I might have some of those cones stuck around my cars wind shield.

No 2 - Woodland Scenic Blended Turf T49
No 3 - Polak 2160 (Polak is a small company from Czech Republic with very good products - you can see their WWW)
No 5 - ??? (some old stuff - I do not know the producer)

No 1 is promising for some other uses. Electrostatic grass has been used to make this one. This technique may be usefull to model farm serrounding - small piles of straw or drying hay (especially in mountain areas). You can find some photos from real life old fashioned farming in Europe below:

I did not know that they Noch road would curve that much, without bunching (making ripples).

It is possible to certain extend. You have to strech carefully outer (longer) edge of the NOCH tape.

There are two places in which roads cross the railway. There is an unguarded crossing:

    IMG_1196.JPG

and the guarded one, still in construction:

    IMG_1199.JPG

    With some rolling stock:

    Already finished with guard house.

I decided to make a change to the initial plan. I wanted to have more space for the "farm area" with a pond. As the result there will be one less building and the pond construction started with the hole:

    IMG_1309.JPG

Next step is to get the bottom final shape and background colour. To get the shape of the bottom i used scenery mortar (Busch 7590). I found this product very useful and easy with the application. Background was paindet with acrylic paints.

    IMG_1316.JPG

Next step is to create final bottom shape and texture usig different products to represent sand on the bottom, water plants, reeds. There is also an area on the left hand side representing some mud shore. This was done using mixture of white glue, acrylic paints and sand dust.

    IMG_1326.JPG

I also added some "stones" and dead trees in the pond as well as grass and sand on the banks of the pond.

    IMG_1344.JPG
It is almost ready to get artificial water !

I am very impressed. I like your painting the sides of the rails. I haven't been on this site for about a year.
I have a BUSH layout package. I built the frame and inserted foam then glued the mat in place. That is about as far that I have accomplished. I promise to post pictures soon. It's great to be back. I also model in HOac and both scales are SBB/BLS - OBB.

Thanknyou for positive connected. Rusty painting took some ( not short !) time and I used mixture of Humbrol colors I wish you a successfull job with the layout waiting for some Swiss and Austrian flavour.
