    I've been digging around and have been finding some 10mm wargame stuff that might work for Z. 10mm is about 1/200 scale so it's a bit big, but not as big as the 1/144 stuff folks are trying to use. A google search turns up all sorts of vehicles, buildings and even figures that I think can be used as background or even foreground work.

    2007 June news Check out the link to the Snyder house stuff at Roundtop Models.

    Some of this stuff is rough, but with some work we might be able to do some nice military scenes with it.

    Cheers

    Joe, et. al.;

    A word of caution. Don't confuse hobby miniature scales with "to the foot scales". That page I linked lists 10mm as 1/161. But the foot based scales are very different and are popular in the UK.

    3mm is around 1/100. The UK 3mm Society models British TT 1:101 scale (American and European TT scale is 1:120). The ScaleFour society models 1:76.2 scale, which the British know as OO gauge (they call letter designations gauge instead of scale). OO gauge uses 4mm scale, but generally runs on 16.5mm gauge track, the same as HO.

    Mercian Models makes 10mm scale rolling stock, but these are large scale in American model railroad terms.

    By the way, 1/144th is N scale in the UK. I believe it's 2.5mm scale if memory serves.

    Best!

    Ah yes, this is what brought me to Z. Gaming using 1/285 ~ !/300 (6mm) scale miniatures and terrain pieces. Using the smaller scale with Z can lend some depth to a layout, like using Z on an N layout.

    Here are a few more interesting links:

    And this one use to have a separate site but seems to moved everything over to an eBay storefront.
