Hi Jeff, Thanks for the kind words... You are very right, no single manufacturer of models, will ever get all the details correct for all roads. I come from a CAD drafting background, so therefore, I am a perfectionist. I am learning that some things have to be "good enough", or else I would never complete a project. If you are looking for the "well used" look, I'm sure I can work a deal out for my 2nds that didn't cast well, or warped parts. There are plenty of hoppers out there in the real world that are far from perfect!! I am looking into a 65' mill gondola, so keep your eyes open. I am also starting the process of designing an ACF 5701 4-bay grain hopper. Bob, I recommend using http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/ for reference of paint colors. You will find pics of most of my road names and numbers choices on this site. I hope this helps. Kind Regards,
Thanks David and Eric. I'll check that website out and Eric, I'll take a dozen of those 4 bay Hoppers with decals!!!!!! Bob
Eric, I just had a look at that website and you must have made the decals before the cars got covered in graffitti!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bob
