I've still got a heap of these and, yes, the design really does show its age now but when I started in Z it was all we had and it was always much better than the Marklin attempt at an F unit Brooklyn likes running them as A-B-B-A lash ups on his Alpine layout but I keep telling him the B Units have all the free rolling characteristics of a house brick! Interesting though, cause the N&W passenger cars coming out are the dark blue, hmmmm.... And the pre-orders look interesting too!
