    American Z Line Announces New Products at NTS!

    American Z Line has announced a range of new products at the recent National Train Show in Anaheim California. The following new items have been announced:

    ACF 4-Bay hoppers – due December 2008
    PFE wood sided reefers – due February 2009
    Budd RDC1 & RDC2 railcars – 2009
    EMD GP30 locomotive – 2009

    AZL has also released resin SP Pacific Oakland signal towers. These towers come fully assembled, painted and weathered. The towers are item #80001 and are available immediately. Only 100 towers are being offered.

    An ATSF western style station was shown at the NTS. This station is resin cast and will come fully painted and weathered. No release date has been set.

    New versions of the 60’ high cube boxcars were shown at the NTS. AZL showed samples of CP and BNSF high cubes. Also shown were the previously announced TTX, NS and UP high cubes.

    In other news, the SP, NYC and PRR brass passenger sets are now in stock. Please contact us at Ztrack to confirm your preorder. These sets will be shipping from our Washington D.C. office, not the Dublin Ohio Corporate offices.

    As for previous release items, the following is an updated list of delivery times:

    Trilevel autoracks – October 2008
    Funnel Flow tank car – October 2008
    ACF 3-Bay hoppers – October 2008
    Thrall well car – November 2008
    4-6-6-4 Challenger - 2009

    Sorry I missed meeting you at the NTS. I still don't have any Z yet. But the RDCs and the Challenger sound very interesting. What's the story on DCC for them?
