So who all will be there this year? I'm flying out tomorrow evening and going to be setting up the booth on Friday afternoon alongside demoing the new products that will be announced while there.

Who else will I possibly see?

I'll be grabbing some photos if I can escape the booth for a few.

https://www.youtube.com/@HumancityJunction will be posting some videos from the show floor, including one that I'll be involved in (product announcements!). Once he starts posting I'll drop a link to the playlist in here. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLEo9i7ftQDH1dBIUArrlC0GXastjpw6bK is part of his 2023 coverage, I believe he still has some content that didn't get posted yet. I know he also had some troubles last year with the cell networks being overloaded at the show so there could be a slight delay or some mangled live streams.

Also after I return I'll post a more complete write up of the products that are being announced.

I'll be there both days. I'll be sure to get some photos. I'm looking forward to the many layouts, including the Four County Society of Model Engineers, Narragansett Bay RR, Central New York Modelers of Distinction and N-scale Free-Mo layouts.

I just got home from the show a short bit ago, I'll be posting the product announcements tomorrow after I recover from the show and flights to get back home to near Yosemite in California.

But here is a live stream interview covering part of our new system: https://www.youtube.com/live/BjydO5TgV7k?si=w33MgfN-iiV5O4EF&t=7307. The timecode is just before the interview and runs for around 10 minutes. There is also another youtube interview recorded but I haven't seen it pop up yet but it's from another major retailer TW...

I was able to attend both days, and had an awesome time. Saturday was packed - one of the busiest shows I can remember in a long time. Sunday was a little quieter so it was easier to take some photos and do some shopping. After fueling up with breakfast at the IHOP, it was time to hit the show.

While the Chester & Becket Fn3 layout was not at this years show, the Four County Society of Model Engineers were back.

Detail on the FCSME layout is fantastic all around.

A previous best in show module (well deserved):

NELUG (New England Lego Users Group) is always a fun display:

The Central NY Modelers of Distinction had their usual place in the Stroh Building:

Märklin had a good display, from Z scale to the prototype of the Big Boy in 1 Gauge:

The coastal New England layout of the Narragansett Bay RR & Navigation Co was on display. An interesting free-mo style layout that lets you walk in and around the modules:

Beautiful hand built live steam locomotive from the Pioneer Valley Live Steamers:

And, of course, Maggie the Clown:

Had a fantastic discussion with the European Train Enthusiasts NE Chapter about traveling in Switzerland and Germany by train, a trip that I will definitely take in the future.

Thanks again to the many exhibitors and club members who took the time to talk and answer my questions.

I took photos until my memory cards were full and batteries were dead. A set of 1600 photos from the show is available on my Flickr album:

As always, it was great meeting so many model railroad enthusiasts in person. So many great conversations with people and just a fun way to spend a weekend.

    Cheers,
    Mike
