    Hey guys,
I've been having problems with uploading my pictures. Everytime I try, I put 5 photos up. It then goes thru its motion & returns to the uploading page without adding the photos.:tb-hissyfit:

    Mike-

    What size are those pix?

Try uploading just one, if possible, under 100k, and see if that will go.

    Kenny,
They are the same as in the past. Same camera, same settings, etc.
Plus I only load 5 at a time.

That issue happens even just 1 image is just 1 byte over the limit...

I have noticed lately that it does not upload photos from my camera any more like it used to. I have to make low resolution copies of them before they will load. At least it preserves the EXIF data and does not strip it like the another method I was using to lower the bytes. I miss the "old days" when it would take five raw photos from my camera and resize them with no problems.

For me the difference between posting a high resolution image (3592 +) and a low resolution (1024-800) on an internet train site is hardly noticeable.

If your into selling pictures to mags thats a different story. But on Trainboard I find lower resoiutions images just fine.
    See ya

I have been having this issue as well. How do I find what resolution my photos are. Then how do I resize them-?(I am fairly new to this digital photo thing)

    Please help--

Usually your camera manual tells you what the resolution is. I open my images in my photo editor and then save them to another file while selecting a lower resolution. That way I still have the raw image on my computer but can then upload the newer one from the file to Railimages. By the time the Railimages software has resized the image it ends up that the resolution really does not matter because much of that original data is not needed for the smaller image.
