    Dear all

I know, that this topic would not fit in this part of the forum, but I dont where to put it. So I would like to ask you whether there are good chatrooms for train enthusiasts?

Thanks alot for your help and kind regards from Switzerland

    Smarty pants.

The few train sites (model) that I have experienced all end up off topic and create social clicks.

We've tested them a couple of times. They're pretty much as you've noted. Which also makes it a bit of extra work for Staff. So we don't have that option here.

Yes, we had a chatroom here and it worked well but it never materialized into anything that made people interested in it.

I use the whistle post chat room almost every night, and maybe those few of us who use it can be considered a click, but anyone is welcome, just not many who do. This site is a great place to talk to others and is by far my favorite above all else.

We had one here that I almost never used except a few times when Mark Watson would be traveling on the Zephyr and giving us live updates on his travels.

I would use a chat function if I knew that other people were going to be there.
