Uncle Will be releasing a special collectors set on Saturday. The release is supposed to be fantastic. As well as some other news on new things coming.
Uncle Will at London Bridge and Blue Coal Since JD (Joe Orach)was unable to attend, I figured that I would post. Dean Wright (Uncle Will) spent several hours at London Bridge on Saturday. In addition to giving us a preview of his August hopper release, he also shared the story of his (and Bill Hay's) research on this project. He also spoke of future releases and life after Micro-trains trucks and couplers. Instead of spending a lot of time describing the August release, I have attached a photo of the box insert, as well as a picture of two of the cars. The full four car set includes RDG, CNJ, NH and DLW road numbers. In the lower right hand corner of the picture of Uncle Will, two more future ribside two bays can barely be seen. They are the BN and the Virginian. While some of his plans have been delayed by having to solve the coupler and truck issue, Uncle Will's plans for Full Throttle have not slowed down. The next couple of years should be quite exciting. In addition to his existing car types, there are more (undisclosed at this time) on the way. Also in attendance were, Ron Ruddell, John Sullivan, Bob Olson, Don Zelek, Dean Stoki, Paul Lipiarski, Sam Berliner III, Nick Nolfa and others whos names escape me. It was a great day of story telling by some true icons of Z scale. Dan S.
