Anyone had any trouble getting the couplers to stay together when running a consist? I recently purchased a second SD70ACe MTH brand and was attempting to run them in a consist last night, but the couplers will not stay together. These couplers are the electric remote controlled couplers that come stock on these MTH SD70's. What's puzzling is, I can pull cars with either one of the locos, front or rear, with no problem, but when I couple the engines together, they won't stay together. Anyone have advice? Has anyone else had an issue like this? Thanks for any response. Rufus
Rufus, I have no experience with these locomotives or couplers. But I have had some strange coupler problems cause by too much up/down play in the coupler connections. Bob
