Today starting out of Antonito we will run trains with Santa onboard to benefit the local Toys for Tots and the San Luis Valley Food Bank. It's a bit chilly out but in the passenger cars it will be comfy with elves delivering Hot Cocoa & cookies. Santa will wander the train and talk to the munchkins. The Antonito trains will travel west to Ferguson (Hangman's) Trestle and then return to Antonito. Next weekend we run out of Chama. The Chama train will run Chama, Lobato, Chama. I will be working in the Commission Office so I can get back to the hospital on Monday for more radiation. If you scan our home page you can see me sitting in the Tourist car with one of our ladies Ana Elena Rabago handing a drink to Evan Rodriguez. Evan grew up on the RR. His mom pays one of the Mrs. Claus for this train. here s the link: http://cumbrestoltec.com/ Oh yes, today is my 63rd anniversary of life. Thanks Debra for putting up with me for the last 24 of those years.
